At 00:00 on January 1, the three toll stations of Liwu, Qintang and Qingfeng on the Nanwu secondary highway were officially cancelled. So far, all secondary toll stations in Guangxi have been revoked.
According to reports, the owners of the three toll stations in Litang, Qintang, and Qingfeng and the secondary highway projects under their jurisdiction are Guangxi Wuzhou Transportation Co., Ltd., which operated and managed the above toll projects in 1998. The deadline for charging according to regulations is December 31, 2017.
Previously, from 2011 to January 2015, 14 toll stations in Guangxi, including the Datang Toll Station, stopped toll collection and were withdrawn. Starting at 00:00 on January 1, 2016, all 49 government toll-paying highway toll stations in the region were cancelled. At 2400 hours on July 31 last year, the toll booth of Guilin to the Huangsha River First Class Salt Water Toll Station of Guizhou, the last ordinary highway toll station, expired and was officially cancelled.
According to statistics, after the three toll stations are cancelled, all secondary toll stations in Guangxi will be cancelled. There are only 6 ordinary highway toll stations in Guangxi that retain tolls, of which 2 are government repayment loans and 4 are operational ones. (Reporter Wang Zhipeng intern Zhong Qiaochu)
